Hello Gorgeous! What to Dress in Doha
What to Dress in Doha – Qatar
Many of you don’t know what to put in your suitcase when travelling to Qatar. The most question asked is if i need to wear abaya or even burka, and no, the answer is no, i wear my normal clothes, but as a normal muslim country we need to follow some “rules”.

Muslim countries as Qatar they usually have their rules to follow, here is no exception, and for 89% of expats this is just something simple to follow because we are not obliged to wear, as woman, abaya or burka.
In my opinion, you can always experiment this culture by wearing a abaya. There’s a brand managed by a beautiful Portuguese soul Elisabete Reis (Glam Your Image) were you can buy or just have a personal consultation of styling. Its worth to try it!

Simple as this, we wear our normal clothes, and the rules are simple, not mini skirts or open shoulders, but honestly I’ve been wearing short sleeves or spaghetti tripes shirts and I’ve never felt or experienced nobody against that.
One thing for sure and, i think this is common sense, do feel a bit respectful in dates as Ramadan, were in shopping malls or public departments they can be a bit more restrict.

Arabic woman like to be perfectly dressed up, hair done and flawless makeup, check out here how to achieve an Arabic Makeup.
As for the bikinis you can wear them in private beaches as the ones from the hotels otherwise, just shorts and a simple t shirt it’s fine to go have a swim.
So, if you are thinking to travel to Qatar, don’t be afraid to bring your normal clothes, enjoy the weather and food, and new experiences in Qatari culture. You are more then welcome in this amazing country, considered the most safe country in the world.
